One Layer Week 158

The weeks come around so quickly and it's
ONE LAYER
week once more.
This time
Anything Goes!

Here is a simple cascade of flowers, all from Stampin' Up, stamped with my new SU ink, Soft Sky. I think it's such a pretty shade.
This one is a spot of emboss resist and is one incarnation of my one layer card in Craft Stamper Magazine this month!  I did several until I was happy with everything... this one didn't quite make the cut, although it is very similar to the published one.

Watch this space!
Jen is away in Cambridge this weekend and kinda forgot to upload her card before she left, so she'll pop it on on Monday when she's home again!
Have a great weekend Jen!
I hope everyone else has a great weekend too!

  1. Sorry that it looks lkike I linked tw°he same photo twice, but I didnot see that you were using only one linkup method, so it looks like two the same cards, but I don´t know how I can remove the first photo and replace it by the correct photo... Have a good weekend, Gerrina

  4. Every time I post something in the link-up I get a trash can next to the title under the image. Yesterday's post was deleted so I tried this again today--still have the trash can there. Is there something else I need to do? Anne, yourmainestamper

  5. This message is for Chrissy regarding entry #58. She said it was debatable that my card was one layer; The white layer which lays on the base IS one layer. The hearts and word are CUT OUT with my Silhouette. I never use just the base as the card stock isn't that heavy and it gets bent in the mail.

    1. Hi Joanne,
We use the definition of a One Layer card which is printed at the the top of our blog as our bench mark, which is in fact a single piece of card folded in half with no additional layers.
If the base of your card is the red part, then the white card (with the apertures) would be considered as an additional layer on top of that.
Many thanks for raising this point and I do hope that this does clarify things a little!

  7. Darn it all, I love doing OLCs and an Anything Goes no less, but I'm just not going to be able to make it. Your cards are great, Chrissie, and the gallery is loaded with lots of OLC inspiration!! Hugs, Darnell
